Where did they mount the N800-E crossover on 612 cabinets?

I have a pair of 612 cabinets and the N800-E crossover are mounted on the top of the cabinet, next to the horn. Is this were they normally had mounted the crossover. I am looking for a better place to put it and still have access to the attenuation knob.

Hi Mike,

Being a utility cabinet, I doubt if the 612 ever came from the factory with an XO installed unless as a special order. Put it wherever you'd like, just seal up any new holes in the cab airtight.
